Chris Watts is incredible! He performed a root canal on one molar with no pain during or after. He could have told me I needed an additional root canal, which was possible, but he told me I don't need one yet. He was right. He and his staff were professional and excellent bedside manners. If you want the best, go to Dr. Watts.

Dr. Pla is the BEST! She took care of a double root canal many years ago that I've forgotten about because I've never had issues again. When the need rapidly arose for an emergency root canal today, I was delighted to hear that Dr. Pla was still working and that I'd be able to get in to see her. From beginning to end, her office and staff were a delight to work with and I was so well taken care of throughout the entire procedure. They were clear with me about what to expect both financially and during the procedure, even making sure I had a comfortable lumbar pillow to support some low back issues I'm having. The procedure itself was quick and painless. But most of all, I just loved my conversations with Dr. Pla, who has a fascinating life story and such a heart of compassion for her patients. She's got a sparkle in her eye and is so good at what she does. I even got a call this evening from her to make sure I was doing well. When does that ever happen? So grateful to be her patient. If you're looking for a wonderful experience and top notch skill in the midst of an unpleasant circumstance (who wants a root canal, after all?), go see Dr. Pla!

I have to tell you all, that Dr. Pla and her team are/were amazing. The lights went out in Tacoma right when I was getting numb. No problem, she got me in the next morning at 7 AM at their Puyallup location.. I thought I was getting only one root canal, but it turned out that my bicuspid tooth had an abscess as well. She asked if I wanted to get it done right then, I said yes, and boom, I was out of there in 1-1/2 hours (for 2 root canals)! She was always checking on me, and her assistant explained EVERYTHING they were doing. If you have to get a root canal, ask your DDS to send you to Pla & Watts! Dr. Pla was gentle and I could tell she was precise! A+

Dr. Watts is fantastic. He was able to squeeze me in last minute on a Friday for some emergency care. He has excellent bedside manner and was able to quickly address my concerns to get me pain free in no time. He was also kind enough to adjust some of the costs of my visit to make it more affordable. His office offers some great financing options too which came in very helpful. He truly cares about the patient and I would 100% recommend him to anyone in the surrounding area!

I would recommend this office to anyone, patients, and other dentists for referrals as well. I was very impressed with the knowledge and quality of the entire staff that I interacted with. Dr. Watts, Kim, Cory, as well as, Michelle and Tiffany at the front desk. This root canal restoration started with bite tenderness (an infection). Seeing that this procedure was unique and a bit of a challenge. Dr. Watts called my referring dentist, set a plan in motion, and proceeded with the restoration. Dr. Watts and Kim frequently checked with me on how I was doing, which was comforting. Before leaving I expressed that my experience was well worth a review.
